Labah Cyprian Nformi
Labah C Nformi is the author of Nkambe: the Ugly Vs the Beautiful (collection of short stories) Take A Taamba -the Wise Vs the Idiots ( collection of folktales) Tortoise Elected King of the Animal Kingdom ( Folktales)
Labah C Nformi has a BA in English language/Literature and Minor in Performing Arts from the University of Yaounde1 Cameroon and a Masters in English language Arts and Creative Writing from SNHU- Southern New Hampshire University.
Labah C Nformi is a duly elected member of the International English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta.
Career
- Teaching Career
For close to twenty years Labah C Nformi has taught English language and literature in many schools amongst – including Institute Polyvalente Bilingue Makepe- Douala, COPSECO Bilingual Group of Schools -Bonapriso-Douala, Youth and Animation Center-New Bell -Douala
- School projects
Labah C Nformi in 2002 created New Vision Academy – New Bell- Douala. In 2023 he created NEVITRAC- New Vision Vocational Training Center New Bell Douala.
- Performing Arts
Labah C Nformi was a member of the University of Yaounde 1 Theater (1986-1990) He acted on stage and television notably in The Gods are not to Blame by Ola Rotimi in the role of Baba Fankunle( the blind soothsayer) and in the Survivors by Bole Butake in the role the of Old One. His students have presented sketches of his works and poems on local Television channels in Douala. He is presently working on some of his movie scripts to be produced soon.
